IHRC in Angola concludes with the first series of the most recent project “Dialogue in the Community”.
On the 4th of March, the community of the urban district of Cazenga, specifically the “Quinta da Graça” school complex, received the commission with open hands, and on the 18th of March 2023, witnessed the epilogue of this journey. It is worth mentioning that the “Community Dialogue” is a project that aims to dialogue with the communities, and diagnose the main problems, to better remedy them.
The closing of the event was attended by more than 60 teenagers and adults, as well as teachers and directors of the aforementioned institution. In a friendly and familiarizing environment, psychologist Euclênia Justo, in response to the commission’s invitation, addressed the following:
- The consequences of sexual abuse on the mental health of the victim. In this way, the dialogue flowed amicably, and as one could see, expectations were exceeded and the community of the urban district of Cazenga was grateful for the Commission’s initiative.
