Warsaw, March 27, 2025 – A remarkable charity event took place at the Muslim Cultural Centre in Warsaw, located at Bohaterów Września 23, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, organised on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative was launched under the patronage of the International Human Rights Commission IHRC Corporation and was aimed at providing meaningful support to women in difficult life circumstances.
As part of the initiative, 50 elegant dresses, 10 skirts, 10 outer garments, and 30 scarves and head coverings were distributed. All garments were specially designed and sewn for this occasion using high-quality fabrics by the fashion brand Rayana Creat Style, with the aim of respecting the dignity and needs of women in hardship.
The recipients of the clothing represented various nationalities, highlighting the intercultural and inclusive nature of the event. Women who were unable to attend in person due to health reasons received their gift packages delivered directly to their homes with the utmost care and consideration.
Additionally, to support the Iftar evening meal at the mosque, the following food items were donated:
– 400 cans of peas with carrots,
– 300 packs of tea biscuits,
– 120 jars of strawberry jam,
– and 3 large cakes, which added warmth and joy to the communal evening gathering.
The event was organised by Leli Kagermanova, IHRC Commissioner, whose personal dedication and social sensitivity were widely appreciated by both the participants and the local Muslim community.
The International Human Rights Commission IHRC Corporation continues to promote values of solidarity, compassion, and intercultural cooperation, taking concrete actions to meet humanitarian needs. This Warsaw event is a prime example of practical support and community unity during one of the most spiritually significant periods in the Islamic calendar.
