DISCLAIMER NOTICE ON WORLD SUMMIT ON HUMAN RIGHTS 2023
Our attention has been drawn to a “WORLD SUMMIT ON HUMAN RIGHTS 2023”, featuring the presentation of Goodwill Ambassador Awards, Human Rights Person of Year, and others; in the name of the unscrupulous and fraudulent group parading themselves off as the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC).
We would like to categorically state that this event is being organized by unscrupulous and malicious individuals led by SHAHID AMIN KHAN who’s currently serving a jail term in Pakistan; they have no affiliation with the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) led by the Secretary-General Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik.
Misleading information was falsely issued by their Press Information & Public Relations Department, stressing that the International Human Rights Commission decided to organize the 7th edition of World Summit on Human Rights 2023 in-person (with virtual arrangements) from 22nd to 24th May 2023, with the theme, “TOGETHER, WE HAVE THE POWER TO RESHAPE THE WORLD “BUILD BACK BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL GENERATIONS”.
This unscrupulous group is impersonating our name and logo in an attempt to deceive and misinform members of the public. We caution members of the public principally partners of the aforementioned fake event, prospective nominees, that all information emanating from them including this event is not from the International Human Rights Commission IHRC, and should, therefore, be disregarded and dismissed with the contempt it deserves.
