On June 7, 2023, the IHRC Peace Ambassador H.E. Marcin Kwiatkowski, acting on behalf of the IHRC Secretary General, Prof. h.c. Rafał Marcin Wasik and the International Human Right Commission (IHRC), awarded the IHRC Transnational Intergovernmental Medal “Civis Mundi Sum” for outstanding merits in the defense of human rights Senior NCOs Aspirant Piotr Jagaczewski of the Polish Police. Inspector of the Polish Police Marcin Kubas, a sympathizer of the IHRC, assisted in the award.

Aspirant Piotr Jagaczewski has been actively supporting activities for the defense of human rights for 5 years. As a police Senior NCOs, he always stands up for human rights and is an example of a police officer who is very sensitive in human rights matters.

Awarded Piotr Jagaczewski trains future observers and participants of the IHRC mission in personal security and defense techniques. Aspirant Piotr Jagaczewski has proven many times that he is a citizen of the world and that the fate of people in need of IHRC support is very important to him.

Europe: The Special Monitoring Mission International Human Rights Commission, SMM IHRC, under the amiable leadership of IHRC Secretary-General Prof. h.c. Rafał Marcin Wasik held a special event on May 15th, 2023 in honor of Volunteers who have always helped and are still ready to help those in need in Poland and delivered financial support for PLN 200 to 15 refugee families.

A statement by Leli Kagermanova, the Regional Volunteers Coordinator (RVC) in Poland, noted that for several years, the Volunteers have been helping refugees from Chechnya who are in a difficult situation. She said since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, they also took them under their constant care. “Our Volunteers helped refugees from Ukraine in many ways, organizing their transport from the border to Warsaw.”

She added that all Refugees under the care of RVC Leli Kagermanova, both from Chechnya and Ukraine, were provided with the same help. They received financial support, food parcels, and what was extremely important for them, the help of interpreters in hospitals, offices, etc.

Meanwhile, every year advocacy programs with particular emphasis on children and their mothers are organized including meetings with Santa Claus in schools, not limited to the distribution of much-anticipated gifts, but also with tasty refreshments, delicious homemade cakes, and other sweets.

We can talk endlessly about the activities of SMM IHRC Poland Volunteers with great reference to the RVC Leli Kagermanova and her associates. This group of Volunteers works in refugee communities.

Earlier in her remark, Leli Kagermanova thanked the Secretary-General Prof Rafal Marcin Wasik alongside the volunteers from Warsaw for their efforts and heart in activities for the benefit of those in need. In addition, each Volunteer received a prize of PLN 100 as a thank-you package.

At the end of the special event, the Volunteers, together with the supported families of Warsaw residents, appreciated Secretary-General Prof. h.c Rafał Marcin Wasik for the opportunity to serve humanity and help those in need.

Towards improving the infrastructures and enabling access to easy movement of disabled people, elderly people, and other categories with different mobility difficulties, including different public institutional facilities in the Municipality of Pristina, the capital and largest city of Kosovo, the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Tuesday 16th May 2023.

The development was made available by the Ambassador of Goodwill for Kosovo at International Human Rights Commission, H.E. Elvana Shala who signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Mayor of the Municipality of Pristina Perparim Rama, ahead of the launch of the 30-day campaign on “Prishtina a City Without Barriers”.

Meanwhile, he noted that other areas of cooperation enshrined in this memorandum are the starting point for the implementation of the commitments and recommendations given at the World Congress of Persons with Disabilities 2022 held under her patronage in December 2022. During this campaign, all public institutions are required to install the facilitating segments for access to these facilities, such as the necessary ramps, stair holders, and other facilities provided by the administrative instructions and the law in force, he maintained.

While responding to newsmen, he used the medium to invite all relevant organizations and institutions to join the campaign to transform Pristina into a city for everyone. “The campaign will be monitored by Ambassador Shala and will be supported by the Municipality of Pristina”, he summed up.

The Secretary General of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Prof. h.c. Rafał Marcin Wasik has condemned in strong terms, the killing of Mr. Nygil Cullins, who was murdered on May 2022 by the Police in Buckhead Atlanta Georgia USA, commending the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in the quest for justice.

Thus, the International Human Rights Commission jointly supports and joins the appeal of the Global President and Founder of the African and Middle-East Economic Sustainability Alliance (AMEESA) USA, H.E. Nakiim Bey, and gives him the full support of the international voice through the IHRC.

Recall that in May 2022, the Police in Buckhead, Atlanta Georgia, United States murdered Nygil Cullins due to a scuffle with a security guard, when he stepped out of the storefront with his hands up and unarmed, yet the Police used him as a target range. This is another human rights violation of an African-American black male killed. We must stop this senseless killing.

International: Secretary-General of the Transnational Intergovernmental Foundation, the International Human Rights Commission -IHRC, Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik makes a historical landmark in the City of Nazareth in Israel by restoring St. Francis’ Home, a hospital for the elderly in Nazareth through the “Easter is coming with byzantine Melodies” initiative.

The Secretary-General in a statement made available by his media team asserted that it is worth noting that the entire proceeds of the event were allocated to the St. Francis Home for the Elderly in Nazareth, with the aim of restoring it and working to improve the quality of service for the elderly.

He further revealed that through the Initiative IHRC will begin its official activities in Israel and considers establishing a local territorial unit of IHRC in Israel.

The Easter is coming with byzantine melodies was held on Tuesday 4th April 2023 in Nazareth – Israel, the country that bears a historical and religious dimension for Christians in the Middle East. The melody event featured hymns with the voice of Father Nicodemos Kabarnos, who came from Greece to revive the evening, accompanied by a choir from Kafryasif, as a celebration of Easter.

In the same vein, staff was honored in recognition of their efforts by awarding them certificates of honor and honorary medals from the organization. Mr. George Arar was officially appointed as an Ambassador for the International Human Rights Commission.
