]]> The International Human Rights Commission – IHRC expresses its deepest condolences and unwavering solidarity with the families of the brave Pakistani soldiers who embraced martyrdom in the tragic attack on a joint check post in the Bannu district on 19 November 2024. This heinous assault, carried out by Khwarij in the general area of MaliKhel, claimed the lives of 12 heroes, including 10 personnel from the security forces and two from the Frontier Constabulary, who stood valiantly in defense of their homeland.

We strongly condemn this cowardly act of terrorism, which seeks to undermine peace and stability. Such attacks are an affront not only to Pakistan but also to global efforts to combat extremism. The IHRC reaffirms its commitment to promoting peace and security and stands with the people and government of Pakistan in their fight against terrorism.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families and the brave security personnel who continue to risk their lives for the safety of their nation. May the sacrifices of these martyrs never be forgotten.
