Formal cooperation between the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC Corporation) and Ukraine’s National Commission on Radiation Safety (NCRSPU) strengthens international civilianF protection against emerging EMP and radiological threats.

IHRC Corporation has received an official letter dated 30 September 2025 from the Chairman of the NCRSPU confirming cooperation and the appointment of Mr Igor Mantsurov as Senior Advisor for International Affairs.

Context and Strategic Significance

On 30 September 2025, IHRC Secretary General Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik received an official communication from Mr Oleksandr Kopilenko, Chairman of the NCRSPU, announcing the appointment of Mr Igor Mantsurov as Senior Advisor for International Affairs and expressing readiness to deepen collaboration with IHRC. The NCRSPU also highlighted its methodological framework on the “Safety of the Combined Influence Zone of NPP Radiation Accidents and High-Frequency Electromagnetic Fields (EMP/HF)”.

A Court Verdict and Human Rights Protection in Practice

Protection That Delivered Results

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) was engaged from the very beginning in the case of Luiza Galaeva and her children, whose lives and safety were under serious threat. Through determined legal, logistical, and security actions, IHRC not only ensured their protection but also contributed to a court ruling that confirmed the validity of all steps taken by the organisation.

A Verdict That Safeguards Life and Dignity

A Polish court found Andy Musaev – Luiza’s former husband – guilty of making criminal threats against her and Natasha Deshieva. These threats involved the intent to take Luiza’s life and to force her to return to Chechnya.
For these crimes, the court imposed a custodial sentence and a long-term ban on contacting or approaching Luiza Galaeva and Natasha Deshieva, effectively ensuring their safety and peace of mind.

Proof of IHRC’s Effective Work

This verdict is direct evidence that IHRC’s actions – legal support, monitoring, and international advocacy – bring tangible results. This is not only a symbolic defence of human rights but also concrete protection of life, health, and personal freedom.

Adamawa State, Nigeria – 5 August 2025

Disaster Assessment Reveals Scale of Tragedy

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Corporation Nigeria has released a comprehensive disaster report following severe flooding across six Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Adamawa State: Yola South, Yola North, Numan, Demsa, Girei, and Lamurde. The crisis has left 6,732 households affected, 42,118 individuals impacted, 27 confirmed fatalities, 74 injured, and over 15,000 displaced, now seeking refuge in IDP camps and host communities.

The findings, based on a Rapid Needs and Risk Assessment conducted on 30 July 2025 by the IHRC Special Monitoring Mission, in collaboration with Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), DAWOS Foundation, AB Haske Foundation, and local authorities, document widespread destruction of homes, farmland, sanitation, and increasing risks of gender-based violence, disease outbreaks, and food insecurity.

IHRC Humanitarian Response and Partnerships

IHRC deployed emergency teams to deliver urgent relief, including:

Distribution of Non-Food Items (NFIs) to over 850 households: blankets, dignity kits, mosquito nets, utensils,
Essential medications for malaria, typhoid, and infections, in partnership with local health agencies,
Psychosocial and protection support – including group therapy for women, children, and the elderly.

International Human Rights Commission IHRC Corporation Visits School in Uttarakhand Promoting Education and Human Rights

Bishop Dr Samsher Khan, IHRC Peace Ambassador and High Commissioner MNVC SMM IHRC, along with IHRC press journalists, visited a school in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand State, India, today. Many community representatives attended, including Dr R. Staphen Diyali, Zonal Volunteer Coordinator and IHRC Investigative Journalist, as well as official IHRC volunteers Rev. Vijay Paul Tangani and Puja.

During the event, children were delighted to receive gifts of chocolates, notebooks, pencils, and erasers. The school principal, Radhika Diyali, was honored with an official IHRC Certificate and BBH ID for her outstanding contributions to the educational community.

Bishop Dr Samsher Khan delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of respecting human rights and promoting mutual respect regardless of religious or cultural differences. He also stressed the critical role of children as the future of the nation, highlighting the necessity of providing them with proper education and emotional support.

The meeting also focused on discussing further cooperation and IHRC’s continued support for local communities. Attendees learned about ways IHRC can assist, which received a positive response from local residents.
