IMO STATE: A delegation from the Head of Diplomatic Mission of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Nigeria, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Duru Hezekiah, yesterday, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Imo State, H.E. Hope Uzodimma at the State Government House Owerri.

IHRC Representatives at the courtesy visit Timnan Dapchir; Head of Public Security Oversight, and Comrade Ogueri Loyce; Special Assistant to the Head of Diplomatic Mission, intimated the Governor on the scope of work and objectives of IHRC, while issues bothering around Human Rights, Security, and Development of the State were brought into focus and critically discussed.

While acknowledging the Delegation from the Head of the Diplomatic Mission for IHRC Nigeria, Governor Uzodimma assured the State’s partnership and cooperation, noting that Imo State is committed to international best practices on human rights promotion and security of the State.
