IHRC volunteers and coordinators organised vibrant events in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, focusing on the well-being and joy of underprivileged children. From distributing snacks and school supplies to engaging children in celebrations filled with hope and happiness, IHRC once again demonstrated its commitment to protecting and uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.

In Delhi, Rev. Kailash Kuriya, Zonal Volunteer Coordinator, and Madhu Kuriya, Official Volunteer of IHRC, led the celebrations with children from local communities. The team distributed snacks, milk, and homemade packets of Dalia (a traditional dish) to bring a personal touch to the festivities. The children, dressed in vibrant outfits, participated in activities filled with laughter and warmth.

“Children are innocent and sincere, and celebrating this day is a reminder of their pure hearts and the love they bring into the world,” said Rev. Kailash Kuriya. The program also included a message of gratitude to IHRC dignitaries for their continued support. “We are deeply thankful to Prof. H.C. Rafał Marcin Wasik, Secretary General, and Daniel Błaszczyk, Master Volunteer Coordinator, for empowering us to serve these children.” added Rev. Kuriya.

In Uttar Pradesh, Radha Krishan, Zonal Volunteer Coordinator and Investigative Journalist for IHRC, led another successful Children’s Day program. The event focused on providing practical resources to children, including notebooks, pens, balloons, and sweets. The children’s radiant smiles showcased their excitement and gratitude for the thoughtful gestures.

“Thanks to IHRC, we have been able to bring light and happiness to these children.” shared Radha Krishan. “This is not just a celebration but a commitment to their welfare and future.” The program saw the active participation of IHRC volunteers, with special mentions of Bishop Dr. H.E. Samsher Khan, IHRC Peace Ambassador, for his unwavering support for human rights and law.

Both events highlighted IHRC’s mission to advocate for human rights while fostering a culture of compassion and care. Volunteers and coordinators expressed heartfelt gratitude to IHRC leadership for their support, including Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik, IHRC Secretary General, Chairperson IHRC Group, and Daniel Blaszczyk, Ambassador of Large, Master Volunteer Coordinator. 

The celebrations underscored IHRC’s belief in the power of community and collaboration in addressing the needs of children. From providing essential resources to spreading smiles, IHRC reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the rights and dignity of every child.

This Children’s Day, IHRC’s efforts brought happiness and hope to many children across India, emphasising the importance of safeguarding children’s rights and creating opportunities for their brighter future.
