The International Human Rights Commission-IHRC delegate accompanied by Consul Romanos A. Raad and Ambassador at large for IHRC, met with the Head of the Maronites Churches Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi.


During the visit, the Ambassador at Large, Consul Romanos assured the Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi of IHRC’s support, adding that the priority is for the church to stand firm with one another, specifically as the church in Lebanon is playing the role of shelter for the poor and providing food and medicine for the poor during the Lebanese difficult economic times.
