On 30 July 2024, a ceremony was held to honour the KRYSTYNA Rehabilitation Spa Hospital in Busko-Zdroj with the prestigious IHRC “Civis Mundi Sum” Medal. The ceremony took place at the hospital’s headquarters, in the presence of a delegation from the International Human Rights Commission – IHRC.
KRYSTYNA Rehabilitation Spa Hospital in Busko-Zdroj was honoured with the Gold Medal for its invaluable services in the field of medical rehabilitation and promotion of innovative treatment methods. The hospital has for years been a leader in the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients, offering top-quality medical services that significantly improve the quality of life of many people. Thanks to modern therapeutic methods, advanced technology and a team of outstanding specialists, KRYSTYNA puts the patient at the centre of its activities, implementing the IHRC motto: “Every patient is a unique story”.
During the ceremony, Prof. AWP Dr n. med. Artur Durda and Mgr Malgorzata Wisniewska received individual awards.
Prof. AWP Dr n. med. Artur Durda is a recognised authority in the field of rehabilitation medicine, having made a significant contribution to the development of this speciality over the years of his career. His scientific and clinical activities have contributed to the introduction of modern treatment and rehabilitation methods that significantly improve patients’ quality of life.
Prof. Durda has also authored numerous scientific publications and is a member of many international medical associations. His commitment and professionalism have won him recognition not only in Poland, but also internationally.
Mgr Malgorzata Wisniewska is an esteemed specialist who, on the day of the award, was the president of the KRYSTYNA Rehabilitation Spa Hospital.
As the leader of the facility, she leads a team of specialists with passion and dedication, ensuring the highest standards of health and rehabilitation care.
Mgr Malgorzata Wisniewska is an extremely empathetic person, dedicated to her patients and team, and her approach to management combines professionalism with human sensitivity. Privately, she is recognised for her kindness and willingness to help others.
Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik, IHRC Secretary General, Chairperson IHRC Group, Peacemaker; and M.Sc. Ewelina Barbara Pawlowska, Ambassador at Large and Managing Director of the IHRC Department of Diplomatic Protocol; personally presented the medals, emphasising the importance of the contribution of the KRYSTYNA Rehabilitation Spa Hospital, Prof. Artur Durda and Mgr Malgorzata Wisniewska in raising the standards of healthcare and inspiring others to strive for excellence.
In her speech, M.Sc. Ewelina Barbara Pawlowska noted: “KRYSTYNA Rehabilitation Spa Hospital in Busko-Zdroj, Prof. Artur Durda and Mgr Malgorzata Wisniewska are excellent examples of institutions and individuals who contribute to building a better world through their commitment and professionalism.
