The International Human Rights Commission and the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation have been teaching free dance for children living in Sri Lanka under the Shri Hela Higher Education Academy for two years in several centers across Sri Lanka.

Thus, the certificates were distributed to the students of Batapothalla Dilankarachchi art Institute of Pannala Divisional Secretariat of Kurunegala district who studied dance for two years on March 09, 2024 at Weherahera Batapothalla Dilankarachchi Art Institute.

According to Dr. Chrishantha Dissanayake, the Sri Lankan Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission and Founder / chairman / Director General of The Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation , veteran choreographers Mr. Amaradasa Dilankarachchi and Mr. Sadeva Amaradasa, who are the volunteer coordinators of the International Human Rights Commission as well as the directors of cultural affairs of the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation. they were provide together free local dance lessons to the children for two years taught throughout.

In the same way, the children of Batapothalla , Narangoda, ingaradaula , kadirapola, kelaniyamulla, mummana, Dabadeniya, bammanna and kuliyapitiya , villages who studied dance were given certificates regarding the correct study of the subject of local Dance.

The Commissioner of Sri Lanka Dr. Chrishantha Dissanayake asked the students to create sensitive people through art and they make the world beautiful, and as children who have studied the subject of dance, they should do the same.

For this occasion, Dr. Chrishantha Dissanayake, the Sri Lankan Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission , Founder / chairman / Director General of the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation and Shri Hela Higher Education Academy , Mr. Sadeva Amaradasa, Mr. Amaradasa Dilankarachchi and Deshamanya Mr . Dammika sisira kumara , the coordinators of the International Human Rights Commission and Directors of Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation , Vice President of Srilankan youth Api Foundation, Mr. Shenal sanjana were present.

International: Secretary-General of the Transnational Intergovernmental Foundation, the International Human Rights Commission -IHRC, Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik makes a historical landmark in the City of Nazareth in Israel by restoring St. Francis’ Home, a hospital for the elderly in Nazareth through the “Easter is coming with byzantine Melodies” initiative.

The Secretary-General in a statement made available by his media team asserted that it is worth noting that the entire proceeds of the event were allocated to the St. Francis Home for the Elderly in Nazareth, with the aim of restoring it and working to improve the quality of service for the elderly.

He further revealed that through the Initiative IHRC will begin its official activities in Israel and considers establishing a local territorial unit of IHRC in Israel.

The Easter is coming with byzantine melodies was held on Tuesday 4th April 2023 in Nazareth – Israel, the country that bears a historical and religious dimension for Christians in the Middle East. The melody event featured hymns with the voice of Father Nicodemos Kabarnos, who came from Greece to revive the evening, accompanied by a choir from Kafryasif, as a celebration of Easter.

In the same vein, staff was honored in recognition of their efforts by awarding them certificates of honor and honorary medals from the organization. Mr. George Arar was officially appointed as an Ambassador for the International Human Rights Commission.

Farah Farah was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mr. Simon Irhayil was awarded IHRC Silver Medal; Mr. Bassim Asfour was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mr. Nizar Younis awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mrs. Ghada Zoubi awarded IHRC Bronze Medal, and Mr. Nizar Khashboun was awarded IHRC Bronze medal.

Others include Mr. Elias Khalif who was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mr. Michael Abu Nassar was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mr. Samer Issawi was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal, Mr. Khalil Mazawi was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal, Mrs. Nana Naoum was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal, Mr. Grace Dahdouli was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mrs. Suha Semaan was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal.

Also, Mr. Wissam Abu Salem was awarded an IHRC Bronze Medal; Mrs. Ola Khashboun was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal; Mrs. Areej Assaf was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal, Mr. Hossam Sakas was awarded IHRC Bronze Medal

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) implores world leaders on importance of engaging young entrepreneurs in navigating a new world, stating that it is only by partnership with the youth that can solve pressing global challenges, and ultimately make the world a better place for all.

The assertion was made on Thursday by IHRC Goodwill Ambassador, Daphne McKinley at the Second Edition of the Parliament of Sustainable Peace within the Federation of Leaders for the nations for Latin America and the Caribbean A.C. in Mexico.
Ambassador Daphne McKinley affirmed that the youths can be helped in driving the positive change needed in global economy system by creating supportive and creative communities with industry leaders, academics, and individuals of influence, where the young visionary entrepreneurs can connect, learn, grow, and collaborate.

Daphne emphasized the need to create platforms in order to:

• encourage young entrepreneurs to achieve their highest level of success and fulfil their full potential.
• empower young entrepreneurs by providing mentorship and support as they enhance their resources and capabilities to generate substantial environmental, social, and governance to make an impact in society.
• educate young entrepreneurs on how to navigate the transition of their companies into future technology.

“We have all the solutions at our fingertips, we now need to implement the solutions. Technology will play a major key for future industry. It will provide the changes that need to happen to make a sustainable future. Heath care, Education, Green energy, Agriculture, Waste management all areas that can make a real difference to a sustainable world”, she noted.

While thanking the organizers, the Body of Leadership representing the Government of the Republic of Mexico and the Caribbean, she maintained that the need to encourage the young entrepreneurs in all these areas cannot be overemphasized.

“However, we cannot achieve all of this without Peace. Peace leads to economic growth, peace builds trust when it has been broken, peace brings innovation and accelerates technology which in turn brings well-being and good relations between all peoples”, she added.

Ambassador Daphne further emphasized on thematic areas of the International Human Rights Commission as a diplomatic transnational intergovernmental foundation that is highly specialized in peace negotiations.

IHRC is a self-financed, neutral, impartial and independent organization based in Switzerland. Since its inception, IHRC has operated mainly in the international arena in zones of war and military operations, territorial and national conflicts, and humanitarian disasters.

On 3 continents, we closely cooperate with state authorities, creating conditions and securing platforms for official and unofficial work and arrangements aimed at resolving conflicts and restoring the application of human rights.
