Gen. IPC Romanos Aziz Raad, a principal representative of the International Human Rights Commission-IHRC, held a crucial meeting with the Orthodox Patriarch of Armenia and the Middle East, towards achieving sustainable peace. The meeting highlighted IHRC’s dedicated commitment to fostering peace in the region.

In this crucial gathering, Ambassador at Large Aziz Raad, who also serves as the Chairman of IHRC in the USA and leads the Diplomatic Mission of IHRC Switzerland in Lebanon, discussed the pivotal role of the Armenian Church in mediating Lebanon’s protracted political deadlock. A primary topic of discussion was the need for unity among Lebanon’s various political and religious parties to elect the next president.

IHRC’s Urgent Public Disclaimer, Tasks WIPO, EUIPO, Others For Sanctions

August 7, 2023

Again the Transnational Intergovernmental Organization – International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), under the leadership of the Secretary-General Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik has reiterated the legal penalty for impersonators who are parading themselves off as being affiliated with the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Switzerland, or appropriating parts of the Organization’s identity and logos with the intent to mislead and defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Prof. Rafal Marcin Wasik gave the assertion while reacting to a recent event contained on a website-‘https://ihrc-wyc.org‘ bearing the 2023 IHRC International African Women Conference in Abuja Nigeria, and featuring Africa’s Women Hall of Fame organized by this unscrupulous group with the name International Human Rights Commission Africa Region Headquarters

He said our attention was drawn to an event held at Abuja on 20th to 22nd July 2023 at the International Conference Center, and we would like to state categorically that the event was being organized by unscrupulous and malicious individuals who have no affiliation with the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) led by the Secretary-General Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik.

“This unscrupulous group is impersonating our name and logo in an attempt to deceive and misinform members of the public through falsified press information, conferences, and solicitation of funds”.

Citing examples of wrong wording identified in the date of the Conference publicity written as 20th-22th, the Secretary-General Rafal berated the comics, the pattern of expression, and poor editorial notes emanating from the unscrupulous International Human Rights Commission Africa Region Headquarters website and publicity material, describing it a piece of crab.

IHRC is a reputable Organization with standard practices applicable in all their works and public relations, contrary to the purported International Human Rights Commission Africa Region Headquarters whose plagiarism check undermines international standards. “We couldn’t stoop so low creating and advertising junk, because we constantly engage in best practices”, he noted.

Meanwhile, IHRC doesn’t run a parallel organization centralized on personal ambition, nor display a shenaniganizer website and figures in an attempt to ordinarily generate followers without having an administrative office for their day-to-day activities. IHRC’s offices and branches across the world are legitimately registered, visible, accessible, and functional, unlike the unscrupulous groups parading themselves off as International Human Rights Commission Africa Region Headquarters whose addresses can not be accessible.

He reinstated for the avoidance of doubt, that the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is a Transnational Intergovernmental Organization based in Zurich Switzerland with Swiss accreditation number ‘CHE-388.075.145′ and having its Diplomatic Representation by the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs Department of the European Union.

Similarly, the IHRC has signed a treaty with the African Peace and Security Union (APSU), a specialized structure functioning as a continental body encompassing the African continent with a clear mandate to support policies and programs that promote stability, development, and integration of the continent, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding with the Peace and Security Cluster of the African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (AU-ECOSOCC).

In the same vein in many European, African, and Asian countries, IHRC works closely and actively with the United Nations and its various Organizations on Projects initiated by both the United Nations and the IHRC, to which UN Organizations gladly accept invitations to participate, such as in Kosovo, Pakistan, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Ghana.

He emphasized that ‘IHRC’ is a registered trademark owned by the International Human Rights Commission and is protected by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Aside the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Prof. Rafal maintained that ‘IHRC’ features in proprietary logo graphic and name in: European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Intellectual Property Office United Kingdom (IPOUK), Intellectual Property Organization Pakistan (IPO), African Intellectual Property Organization (OA), and the Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments Commercial Law Department Trademarks Patents and Designs Registry Nigeria.

He cautioned that IHRC shall not be responsible for and expressly disclaims all liabilities for, damages of any kind arising out of the use of, reference to, or reliance on any information by the fake International Human Rights Commission Africa Region Headquarters.

Going further, the Secretary-General Prof Rafal urged WIPO, EUIPO, USPTO, IPOUK, security agencies, and others to immediately sanction impersonators, scammers, and criminals abusing the INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION’S identity. He reminded IHRC Official Representatives in respective countries to report impersonators to their appropriate authorities for sanctions.

Adding that the general public should take note as anyone who engages with the said INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION AFRICA REGION HEADQUARTERS or any other platforms such as ihrcigo@gmail.com, ihrc.hq@gmail.com, info@ihrc-hq.org info@ihrc-geneve.org https://www.ihrc-hq.org, https://ihrc-geneve.org, https://ihrc-wyc.org and material promoted by these imposters does so at their own risk.

Mr. Ahmed Mawas, a delegate from the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in Northern Syria, was assigned a field visit to Pediatric and Gynecological Cancer Patients in Idlib Hospitals

During the visit, patients and doctors expressed their challenges due to a lack of medicines, appropriate treatment, and the lack of medical capabilities, and laboratory equipment.

The Delegation of the Syrian Center for Human Rights also met with the Director of the University Hospital where Mr. Ahmed Mawas conveyed the solidarity of the International Human Rights Commission led by Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik with patients and doctors while submitting their complaints to international organizations for urgent intervention.

“We at IHRC Syria, are appealing to all international organizations, the United Nations, Turkey, and health organizations to provide medicines and special equipment for early examination of cancer diseases quickly and open the crossings with Turkey to treat these patients”, Ahmed Mawas said.

Note that the number of patients in Northern Syria exceeds 3,000 patients, most of whom are children, and there are a large number of new cases that occur daily. The IHRC team thanked the government in Northwest Syria for its keen interest and cooperation with the team.
