<p><strong>August 1, 2023</strong><br><br>Again, the Transnational Intergovernmental Organization &#8211; <mark style="background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0);color:#cf2e2e" class="has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color">International Human Rights Commission</mark> (IHRC) with Zion Gates Foundation begins a tree planting project around the Moshi community in Tanzania, to address the issues of deforestation and environmental degradation in the area.<br><br>Count William K. Mackie, Global Peace Ambassador to the International Human Rights Commission in Tanzania, revealed that the project aims to promote sustainable environmental practices while also creating awareness of the importance of preserving the environment for future generations.</p>

<p><br><br>He noted that the Project has implemented several activities to achieve its objectives including;<br><br>1. <strong>Tree Planting: </strong>planting activities in the local communities to promote reforestation and environmental conservation.<br><br>2. <strong>Environmental Education:</strong> conducting environmental education programs in the local communities to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.<br><br>3. <mark style="background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0);color:#000000" class="has-inline-color has-black-color"><strong>Community Engagement:</strong></mark> The project has engaged with local communities to promote sustainable environmental practices and encourage community participation in environmental conservation efforts.<br><br>4. <strong>Monitoring and Evaluation:</strong> The project has established a monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress and ensure that project activities are achieving the desired outcomes.</p>

<p><br><br>He maintained that the Tree Planting Project around Moshi has achieved significant success in its efforts to promote environmental conservation and sustainable practices which hereunder mentioned;<br><br>1. <strong>Increased Tree Cover:</strong> The project has planted thousands of trees in the local communities, leading to increased tree cover and reforestation.<br><br>2. <strong>Improved Environmental Awareness:</strong> The project has raised awareness among local communities on the importance of preserving the environment.
