Distinguished Ceremony Recognizes Local Leaders and Volunteers

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), as part of its ongoing commitment to human rights education and advocacy, organised a special recognition event in Govandi, Mumbai. The ceremony brought together leading local officials, social workers, and IHRC volunteers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the advancement and defence of fundamental human rights.

Ronaldinho Gaúcho, the undisputed legend of world football, was officially honoured with the title of Peace Ambassador of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) during a special gala event in Zabrze. The ceremony, attended by the highest authorities of IHRC – Prof. h.c. Rafał Marcin Wasik, IHRC Secretary-General, Peacemaker and Ambassador at Large Mr. Sławomir Rogowski – became a symbol of global unity, humanitarian values, and genuine commitment to peace.

As an IHRC Ambassador, Ronaldinho is today a true inspiration for millions of people around the world – not only through his sporting achievements, but above all through his active stance for dialogue, solidarity, and the protection of human rights. His energy, charisma, and authority make him an ambassador of the very values that IHRC promotes across all continents.
