Whereas recognition of Article 2 (1&2) of the Act of Accession to the United Organizations between the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Switzerland, and Brings International in Nigeria.
Whereas a common understanding of these is that the Organization ‘Brings International’, will conduct a minimum of 4 times a year a local
humanitarian operation for the benefit of persecuted, poor, or excluded people and to carry out a minimum of 2 times a year, a supra-local humanitarian action with another Organization for the persecuted, poor, or excluded.
Whereas the Back to School Project is a program to bring assistance to families as they prepare to send their kids back to school.
At school resumption, many children are usually found on the streets hopelessly, without support, supplies, and uniforms. We’re burdened by this news, so we’ve designed a special project to make a difference through the “BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT”, for vulnerable children in the underprivileged community.
It will provide them with teaching and learning materials, school bags, and uniforms, ensuring continued education without dropouts.
This project will help poor children buy teaching and learning materials, school bags, and uniforms and payment of school fees to attend school regularly.
Education is a basic human right that works to raise men and women out of poverty, level inequalities and ensure sustainable development. But worldwide, 244 million children and youth are still out of school for social, economic, and cultural reasons.
It is argued that the state of education in Nigeria is not only poor, but there are challenges with access, quality, and relevance.
The Organization will carry out this Programme through:
- training, requiring us to teach students vocabulary development and gain confidence in public speaking, general essay review, and letter writing.
- reading competition, requiring us to formulate a reading structure following their school syllabus and other literature books.
- advocacy and campaigns, requiring us to partner with schools, parents, churches, and Community leaders to stimulate public awareness.
- empowerment, requiring us to empower school children with teaching and learning materials, school bags, uniforms, notebooks, and others.
