On 28th September, in Seferihisar, İzmir, Turkey, the International Human Rights Commission’s (IHRC) Global Peace Ambassador and renowned artist, Ersin Faikzade, organised an exceptionally touching charity concert for SMA patient Çağla Deniz. The event attracted a large number of participants from across the İzmir region, bringing together the local community and supporters of humanitarian efforts who responded to the call for assistance.
During the concert, Ersin Faikzade mesmerised the audience with his unique interpretation and powerful voice, delivering messages of kindness, friendship, and humanity. The artist’s performance was met with tremendous enthusiasm, and the audience honoured him with prolonged standing ovations.
In recognition of this remarkable gesture, the Mayor of Seferihisar and the President of the Balçova Otobulcüler Tradesmen and Craftsmen Chamber expressed their gratitude to Ersin Faikzade by presenting him with a commemorative plaque and flowers. The Mayor of Seferihisar emphasised his pride in hosting such a distinguished artist, stating: “We are honoured to welcome Ersin Faikzade, Turkey’s most exceptional artist, known for his humanity, compassion, and love for his country and nation. We hope that more artists like Mr. Ersin will serve as role models for society.”
What’s more, Prof. h.c. Rafal Marcin WASIK Secretary General Chairperson IHRC Group Peacemaker, also conveyed his approval of this initiative. He underscored the importance of supporting human rights through such musical concerts, stating, “The efforts of Ersin Faikzade are a perfect example of how art and humanitarianism can unite to bring about real change in the lives of those in need. IHRC will always support such initiatives that promote peace and human rights across the globe.”
The proceeds from the concert made a significant contribution to the treatment of young Çağla Deniz, offering hope for a brighter future. The event was met with immense appreciation from the people of İzmir, who embraced Ersin Faikzade with love and respect, demonstrating that the spirit of mutual assistance and support remains strong.
