IHRC in Angola launches the “Dialogue in the Community” Project.
In an appraisal effort to improve knowledge and application of human rights, the Special Monitoring Mission of the International Human Rights Commission in Angola initiated the “Dialogue in the Community” Project (DIC).
The Dialogue in the Community Project is an initiative aimed to analyze, and listening to communities, understanding their problems, and promoting a range of information and knowledge about Human Rights.
A project launched in a series of 3 events, the first of which took place on the 4th of March, in the community of the urban district of Cazenga, specifically in the “Quinta da Graça” school complex said institution.
In a dynamic environment; of familiarization, the Commission dialogued with the Children on the “Violation of Human Rights, sexual abuse – causes and consequences.”
Satisfaction and immediate results were noted in the dialogue process, with the next two events in this series awaiting the 8th & 18th, with different themes and audiences.
