I strongly condemn this horrific attack on St. Elias Church in Al-Dweilaa. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the entire community during this painful time. Attacks on places of worship violate every humanitarian and religious norm, and they must never be tolerated.
IHRC stands in solidarity with the people of Syria and urges all actors to uphold the protection of civilians and sacred spaces. Every human life deserves dignity, safety, and peace and we will continue to advocate for justice and an end to such senseless violence. May the souls of the martyrs rest in peace, and may their families find comfort and strength.
